Cubettino privacy information

Last updated: September 19, 2026. This information applies to the Cubettino web service. It explains which personal data is processed when you access the application and generate a diagram preview.

2. Accessing the website

When you access the service, the technical infrastructure processes the data required for transmission and secure delivery. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested address, HTTP status code, transferred data volume, browser identifier, and a referrer sent by the browser.

The purposes are to deliver the application, ensure stability and security, and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are providing a functional and secure web service.

The Cubettino application itself does not create access logs. Security-related logs from upstream infrastructure are deleted after no more than seven days unless a specific security incident or legal obligation requires longer retention. In that event, the affected data is retained only for that purpose.

3. Generating the diagram preview

After a short input pause, the browser sends the current CubeText together with a technical request number to the Cubettino server. It is transmitted in the body of a POST request; CubeText is not included in the address or in external links.

The server checks the CubeText, calculates the layout, and returns the SVG diagram, diagnostics, rendering statistics, and a model summary to the same browser. The sole purpose is to provide the preview you requested. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is providing the requested playground service.

Cubettino does not permanently store CubeText or include it in application logs. The application retains no server-side copy after the request is complete. The input and last preview remain in your browser's volatile memory until the page is reloaded or closed. They are not used for training, analysis, advertising, or any other purpose.

CubeText may contain personal data if you enter such information yourself. Cubettino is not intended for this purpose. In particular, do not enter confidential information, personal data, or special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR.

4. Cookies and browser storage

Cubettino does not use cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage, or IndexedDB. It performs no audience measurement, advertising, or profiling. Fonts, scripts, images, and symbols are loaded from the Cubettino server.

Copying and downloading take place only after your explicit action in the browser. Because Cubettino neither stores nor reads information on your device for non-essential purposes, the current version does not require consent under Section 25 TDDDG.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details, content, and time of your enquiry. Processing is carried out to take steps prior to or perform a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or for other enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling them under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We delete this data after the enquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations or legal claims require otherwise. CubeText examples voluntarily submitted for support are deleted when the support case is complete.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Within semture GmbH, access is limited to people responsible for operations, security, or handling your enquiry. Hosting and IT service providers engaged by us may receive access to technically necessary data as processors acting on our instructions.

Cubettino does not transfer data to analytics, advertising, social media, or AI providers. Our processors operate and process data within the European Union or European Economic Area. Cubettino does not transfer data to third countries.

The application contains clearly marked links to other services. Only when you follow such a link does the destination provider process the technically necessary connection data under its own responsibility. Cubettino does not transmit CubeText and suppresses the referrer.

9. Provision of data and automated decisions

Providing personal data is not required by law or contract. The application cannot be delivered without technically necessary connection data; Cubettino cannot generate a preview without receiving the CubeText.

No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects and no profiling take place.
